Land Rovers – Going Where Other Vehicles Dare Not Go

Firmly entrenched as a fine British brand, Land Rover is the name of a series of four-wheel drive vehicles with off-road capabilities that were conceived as light “no frills” agricultural or military vehicles back in 1948 but have now evolved into elegantly styled rugged Range Rover SUVs with a touch of luxury.

Here at TI Developments, we just love getting hands-on with a classic Land Rover – especially one of those hard-working, enduring Series I, II, IIA and III models, produced up to 1985, many of which are still in daily use on farms and country estates across the land today.

After Series III came the Land Rover Defender with two main wheelbase variations, models which are for the most part also regarded and respected as classic Land Rovers since production ceased in 2016.

What we find fascinating about classic Land Rovers is their versatility. Although they are instantly recognisable by their boxy shape and recessed front grille, the basic vehicles have been adapted and configured to function as workhorses across the spectrum of human endeavour, from fire engines to cherry pickers – even an amphibious vehicle designed to float on water.

The quintessential vehicle of the English countryside everybody loves them – from the Royal family to the milkman. The Land Rover is a symbol of British engineering, dependability and enterprise, which we are always delighted to be able to preserve. We are known for our expertise in restoring or refurbishing classic Land Rovers, as true as possible to their original specifications, or with a few bespoke improvements and modifications if the owners request it.

We’re proud to say that we have extensive knowledge and competence when it comes to rejuvenating tired classic Land Rovers and giving them a new lease on life. Land Rovers are like fine wine – with a little help and care they only get better with age.

We’d love to give your old Land Rover the mechanical and body care it needs to keep on taking you to places where other vehicles dare not go.
